LOS ANGELES (AP) - An unlicensed pilot has pleaded guilty to flying a jet with passengers on board from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.

City News Service says 36-year-old Arnold Leto of Irvine entered the plea Monday for flying eight passengers out of Van Nuys Airport in April.

His pilot’s license was revoked in January and he wasn’t certified to fly a turbojet.

Leto also pleaded guilty to illegally flying a Cessna Citation turbojet from Santa Monica to Phoenix in January of 2015.
