CLINTON, Md. (AP) - Prince George’s County Police have charged two men in the shooting death of a convenience store clerk during a robbery.

The department said in a news release that 20-year-old Deandre Davis of Clinton and 20-year-old Duran Carrington of Washington were arrested Thursday. They are charged with first-degree murder and robbery in the death of 31-year-old Taiwo Oduwole.

Investigators say Oduwole was shot in the back when he tried to run away from a masked gunman at a 7-Eleven in Clinton on Aug. 20. Officers say Carrington shot Oduwole and Davis was the getaway driver.
