BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s archery hunting season for deer opens at noon Friday.

The state Game and Fish Department is reminding bow hunters to follow all regulations pertaining to tree stands on public hunting areas. That includes displaying the owner’s identity on tree stands left unattended on state wildlife management areas.

The bow hunting season runs through Jan. 8.

North Dakota’s deer gun season opens at noon Nov. 4.
