RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Dominique Wilson scored 16 points, Chelsea Nelson had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and No. 23 North Carolina State beat No. 12 Duke 55 52 on Sunday.

NC State (14-5, 4-2 ACC) has won three straight against Duke for the first time since 1996. It was also the Wolfpack’s third win this season against a Top 15 opponent.

NC State was ahead 35-21 at halftime but Duke clawed back to force eight lead changes in the fourth quarter.

Following a timeout, Rebecca Greenwell sank a long 2-pointer with her toe on the line to give Duke a 52-51 lead with 2:36 left but the Blue Devils didn’t make another field goal. Nelson made a hook in the lane as NC State grabbed the lead 53-52.

Duke called a timeout with 23.5 seconds left, trailing by one. Lexie Brown missed a desperation 3-pointer on a broken play and NC State grabbed the rebound at 5.2. Wilson hit two free throws for a three-point lead. Kyra Lambert was fouled away from the basket with 2.4 seconds left as Duke wasn’t in the bonus and Greenwell stepped on the sideline.

Oderah Chidom and Greenwell scored 11 points apiece for Duke (15-3, 3-2).
