FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) - Micheal Warren scored 16 points, including the go-ahead bucket in the second half, to lead Cal State Northridge to a 70-65 win over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday night.

Rakim Lubin and Kendall Smith added 13 points apiece and Darin Johnson had 10 for Northridge (6-9, 2-0 Big West). Warren hit all four of his 3-point shots and Northridge finished with seven more points from the foul line than Fullerton.

After trailing most of the game, Northridge edged into its first lead of the second half 50-49 with one of Warren’s 3s and slipped past Fullerton for good just over three minutes later when he dropped in a layup to make it 54-53 with 8:53 left. Aaron Parks stretched the advantage to three with a jumper and the Matadors hung on from there.

Fullerton (7-8, 1-1) got 17 points from Lionheart Leslie and Tre Coggins had 11.
