LINCOLN, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating a pair of fatal car crashes.

The accidents occurred Saturday afternoon and evening. The first claimed the life of a Wilmington man, 66-year-old Donald Abbott.

In the second crash, 54-year-old Mark Harris of Milford lost his life.

Police said neither victim was wearing his seat belt.

In the first crash, police said Abbott was struck by another vehicle as he tried to make a left turn off Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington. The other driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

In the second crash, police say Harris lost control of his car as he drove on North Old State Road in Lincoln. He came off the road and struck a tree.
