SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Three inmates have escaped from custody in Tennessee and local authorities have asked the public for help in locating them.

Local news outlets report according to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office the men left the County Workhouse in Shelbyville early Tuesday morning.

Steven Eric Mangrum, Kevin Lane Farrar and Andrew Phillip Marshall escaped between 3:15 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Mangrum was being held for aggravated assault and theft, Farrar for aggravated assault, evading arrest and resisting arrest, while Marshall had six months remaining on a sentence for charges that were not reported.

None of the three was assigned to a work crew as they had been temporarily staying at the facility while repairs were being made to the jail.

All three have local addresses and could still be in town.
