Lib media can not handle a strong woman that did not burn her bra in the 70's huh.

She gave a bunch of canned answers, talking so fast and by rote the Gibson ccouldn't follow her. This woman is a fraud; ditto McBush!

Her answers are good. In no time, she will be an expert in handling interviews. Obama thinks he is ready to be president but with the way Sarah Palin answered question on her first interview, she is more ready than Obama is.

Mrs. Palin's answers were to the point, and she delivered them with confidence. If Mr. Gibson could not keep up, maybe it was because he just reads the news and is not expected to listen. This is a job that Mrs. Palin did not seek, but when asked to serve, she was confident that she could do the job.

Charles Gibson treated Sarah Palin like a punishing professor treats a failing student. He was terrible, and she held her own, despite not knowing what the Bush Doctrine is. No crime in that, really. She never faltered or looked away from him; he bullied her, and he would have never treated a male candidate with such pathetic decorum. I'm so sick of the media. IMHO, this just makes people who already like Palin dig their heels in even more.

If the Chosen One had been asked half the questions the biased lib media guru Gibson asked Saracuda, he would have been stumbling and delaying his answers until he thought of a canned answer prepared by his handlers....He's nothing but a wooden dummy for the dems....With just two public speeches, Saracuda has destroyed the opposition!!....She's America's Margaret Thatcher....Move over you parasitic DC politicians, there's a new tough gal on the block!!!!...And she's conservative and a Republican....

Sarah Pain handled the questions of Mr. Gibson like a seasoned pro. She emphasized that oil is a concern fo our National Security because oil is the engine of our society and it is being used as a weapon by our enemies. Palin is more than ready to take the reins if necessary as President. She is resolute, confident, and her goal is to protect and serve America. As far as having a whole lot of experience, Janet Reno, Ted Kennedy, and Bill Clinton had alot of experience, but they messed up many things in America. The right outlook and having boldness and common sense makes up for a ton of experience that is used unwisely.

Did not get to see the 'live' interview so we had to assess it based on what seemed to be biased clips in this morning's news. Both she and Charlie were under pressure. She, for obvious reasons. Charlie, because he knew his colleagues were counting on him to 'dig deep.' We had no idea what he meant about the Bush doctrine either. It was like asking a math student what he thought of Einstein's theory. Obvious answer, which one? We would give Governor Palin an A based on what we've seen. At this stage she shouldn't be expected to do post graduate work, but considering the pressure of her "first" major interview, she seemed to do very well. Charlie gets a B. He seemed unsure of himself as well, and should have been better considering his long, distinguished experience.

I gave 'dislike' because of the setting. Mrs. Palin did very well. Gibson set himself higher than Mrs. Palin, allowing him to dominate her as an inferior. The media has many subtle ways to oppose anyone they wish to defeat for whatever reasons.

Do you understand that this woman could be President in 4 months if something happened to McCain? Are you kidding me! She is NOT ready and will NOT be ready for that responsibility in that short amount of time. Wake up Americans! You are once again allowing yourself to be manipulated. Think for yourselves.

Think about it--a bright, articulate conservative woman, Sarah Palin, could be President in four months if something happened to John McCann. Conversely think about it if John and Sarah lose--how about Joe Biden as President or worse yet Barrack Obama--they'll lead us down a glib primerose path and tax us to death as we go.

If this was the 1st round of a job interview for a position in my department, I'd be keeping my options open. I'm on Sarah's side but I was hoping for a better demonstration on depth of knowledge. Let's hope she has a better 2nd and 3rd round. Right now, I would not be extending a job offer. She should have been a lot more familiar with Modern Euro history relative to Georgia and the Ukraine - it's a BIG stretch to assert they are established democracies. Nato conducted a thorough review of Georgia, Ukraine, Turkey, and others being considered for the alliance. In the 2 years since that denial, Georgia still has not met Nato's (it was a unanimous Nato decision except for the one country - the US) one of the key conditions - to be a sovereign and stable state within its own borders. Saakashvili has not resolved important political differences with his 2 ethnically different regions. Saakashvili is a problem. I was hoping Sarah would be more familiar with the "Bush doctrine". For the 1st time in our nation's history, we have a President with a policy of preventive war. This is a huge change for our nation and I'd certainly expect our next VP to have depth of knowledge and informed insight on this one. She stumbled horribly on this question. For all the nonsense comparisons to Hillary or Reno or Carter - the last I checked, Joe Biden is the democrat's VP choice. I'd like to see Biden handle the same questions from Charlie. Then we could make a valid comparison. I'm beyond Biden's hair gel or Palin's lipstick - demonstrate your knowledge and your position on the issues facing our nation - PERIOD. Texas Sen. Hutchison or Maine Sen. Snow could be excellent choices for VP. Hutchison is conservative, she knows her domestic and foreign policy, and she's energetic. While Sarah is giving this her best shot, McCain's judgment on this one is questionable. Snow, while not as conservative as Hutch, is extremely bright and she has been a proven executive and change agent. I hope I'm wrong, but I think the novelty of Palin has a short shelf life. Let's hope in round 2 and 3 she demonstrates greater depth of knowledge and CONFIDENCE in her answers (she needs to lose the cliche's - trap door #1 in job interviews).

Charlie Gibson is just another liberal hack on TV. Sarah Palin did FINE! She is far more capable and Qualified then the community organizer from the south side of Chicago!

So when are they going to ask Obama, who has spent most of his Senate career running for president, about his "huberis"? Also when is the media going to ask Obama about HIS experience? Plus I am still waiting for media to ask why Obama's district in Chicago is so full of crime, drugs, dropouts, and gangs. There were more gang killings in Obama's Chicago than death of U.S. soliders in Iraq/Afghanistan this summer. That was reported by the CBS affiliate in Chicago. So how is Obama going to run our nation if he can't fix Chicago?
