Former President George W. Bush said America must resist the "temptation" to allow the government to take over the private sector. Do you think the government is too involved now?

The Government, who can't tie its own shoes correctly, who screwed up Medicare, Social Security, can't determine that the Ft. Hood shooter was a home grown radical Islamic terrorist despite intelligence showing that he was, can't run a Post Office efficiently, now wants to take over the private sector. Spare me! It is competition, the free market, and individual freedom that have created America as we know it. But, get the Government into the mix and we will have virtually no freedom, no common sense ruling our lives, prohibitive taxes to support a giant welfare state, corruption to the nth degree, idiocy, and total control over our lives, and an economy rivaling communist Cuba where they still drive around in 1952 American cars, rebuilt 90,00 times. No, our founding fathers devised our system of limited government with checks and balances with an emphasis on the citizens being free from government tyranny as much as possible. But, today, these goof balls running our government have shred The Constitution which limits them from over powering us, Furthermore, today's people have been dumbed down by the public educational system and the media so much that they don't understand the difference between communism and the free market system, and has been brainwashed into thinking government is the answer to our problems, when, in fact, they are the cause of all of our problems and are, in fact, the problem. Show me a society that is controlled by government, and I will show you a people living under tyranny. Just ask any ordinary person living under communism or an Islamic fascist State, provided you can obtain an answer freely without them being executed for their opinions.

Saying the government is "too involved" is like saying the Titanic is going to be a little late making port. GMAFB!

It is not a "temptation" to allow government to take over the private sector, it is a diabolical scheme to implement Marxism and crown the Kenyan born Muslim Marxist to be our Islamic Caliph for the remainder of his life. He is well on the way toward his life long goal and probably cannot be stopped. Elections sometimes have dire consequences and the left has insured that we do!

I believe the governments involvement only slows the growth of the economy and slows any progress to be made as well as taking away freedoms and disregarding the Constitution.

Hussein in realty does not know any other way. It is clear that he severly lacks education about America and what made America great. It is clear that his lack experience and skills in management leave him no other option but to try to use our money, thinking what he view as the down and trodden of America will continue to applaud his efforts. It is clear that Hussein's deed are making his predessor, the so hated Bush, look to be one or our greatest presidents (even though he isn't). You see, Hussein's stark contrasting differences from Bush is what is driving our country to third world status, to debtor nation status and in the end, more than ever imaginable, other country will shun us and hate us. And, Hussein wants other countries to love us more that fellow Americans love him. We made a great error when we put Hussein in the White House. I wonder what fellow Harvard grads think of their fellow graduate. I'd be embarrassed.

Was this from a SNL skit? "W" saying America must resist temptation to allow the government to take over in private sectors, hilarious! YO, W you and your big government republican cronies got this ball rolling. The Dim's and the three stooges - Pelosi, Reid and Obama - have just pumped it up on steroids.

We must stand and stop the takeover of our Liberty and Freedom by the Progressive, Socialist, Marxist, Liberal, Democrat Party and their leader from ACORN , the great Enforcer and Cumminity Organizer, Obama! Socialism is neither the change nor hope that the misinformed and lied to American people voted for. Too much damage has already been done! How can we stop it before it's too late?

The government is notoriously inefficient and combine that with people whose grandiose ideas, deficit spending, and lack of empathy with the people who elected them, are sending a great country down to where we have never been before. I am convinced the administration is a bunch of losers who could not find their way out of a paper bag.

Bush is the last person that should complain since the national deficit grew $4 trillion ( a 72 % increase) in his 8 years. The fact is that Dems will waste our money on welfare and the Reps will waste our money on warfare, so we are screwed no matter which party is in power. The cost of Bush's insane Iraq war will be $3 trillion by the time it is ended. Now the pro-Israel , Jewish lobby is trying to provoke us into a worse war with Iran. Ron Paul said a war with Iran will destroy the U.S. dollar and he has been right about everything else.
