No stars, but Redskins address depth in 2014 NFL draft

The Redskins did not make a huge splash in the 2014 NFL draft. They did not have a first-round draft pick, they did not select huge college stars or even choose anyone likely to start next season. Whether they did well or not is a question for years down the road. NFL draft: Redskins draft Clemson DB Bashaud Breeland, 102nd overall

With their fourth round pick in the NFL draft on Saturday, the Redskins selected Clemson corner back Bashaud Breeland. He was projected as a possible second or third round pick. Instead, he had to wait an extra 12 hours once selections ended on Friday. Published May 10, 2014
