A grand jury has declined to indict a 23-year-old Baton Rouge man for murder in the death of his 6-month-old son, Aiden, who showed signs of previous abuse, including having been burned in a scalding bath.
Nearly 8 million American children live with a grandparent. For 3 million of those children, about 40 percent, grandparents are the primary caregivers, according to a new Pew Research Center report.
"It's a historical day for the whole [of] Massachusetts," Aiden told the Globe.
