The summer storm that killed at least 28 people in Haiti apparently is also bringing a surge of cholera to at least in one small town.
Alain Legarnec of the French aid group Doctors of the World says a clinic in Jeremie treated 77 people for cholera in recent days.
He said Friday that is a five-fold increase from last week and is most likely caused by rising river levels.
