    Anthony, the NBA's scoring leader, shot only 13 for 29 from the field but scored eight points in the fourth quarter, including consecutive baskets late in the period that finally gave the Knicks breathing room in a tight game.

    Bradley Beal takes knocks but Wizards beat Nuggets

    A day after spending 2½ hours at the dentist to fix his two chipped front teeth — parts of which apparently became embedded in Cartier Martin's forehead — Beal landed hard on the court while his Washington Wizards were trying to hold on to a lead.

    Wizards end road skid with win against Nuggets

    Bradley Beal scored 23 points, John Wall blocked Ty Lawson's attempt for a tying layup in the final seconds, and the Washington Wizards hung on to beat the Denver Nuggets 112-108 on Friday night to snap an eight-game road losing streak.
