Anna Ragsdale Camp is an American stage and television actress. She is known for her role as Jill Mason in the 2008 Broadway revival of Equus and for her role as Sarah Newlin in the second season of True Blood. She has had recurring roles in the fourth season of Mad Men (2010) and the third season of the CBS legal drama series The Good Wife (2011–2012), as well as a supporting role in The Help (2012). Call it The "Bridesmaids" Effect: Ever since the R-rated 2011 comedy became a runaway hit, a rash of female-written comedies are enticing viewers with provocative new characters who are more like women we know.
Cheeky and snarky but with an infectious energy, "Pitch Perfect," a comedy set in the cutthroat world of competing college a cappella groups, makes us fall in love with the very thing it's making fun of. It's ridiculous and predictable but also just a ton of fun, so you may as well give up and give in to your inner musical theater geek.
