    President Obama observed Veterans Day on Sunday by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery and promising the post-9/11 generation of veterans and their families that America will care for them "as long as they walk this Earth."

    Team USA defeats Brazil in final U.S. exhibition game

    Late Monday night, the U.S. men's Olympic basketball team boarded a plane for London, after defeating the Brazilian national team 80-69 at Verizon Center. The game provided the perfect finale for three days of military-themed events for Team USA in the nation's capital.
