Bangor International Airport

. Despite the departure of most of the Air Force presence in the late 1960s, Bangor International Airport remains the home of a small Air Force contingent in the form of an Air National Guard Base. This installation is hosted by the 101st Air Refueling Wing of the Maine Air National Guard, flying the KC-135 Stratotanker.
