    After missing five games with a sprained right wrist, it took Beal just two games to score a season-high in points. And he did it with his right wrist taped.

    HARRIS: Give Wizards props for rebound toward respectability

    The Wizards' record, ugly though it may be, is nowhere near as miserable as it was when they were 4-28. They started the season without injured John Wall and Nene, their two best players. Since Wall returned, Washington is 8-7 and has won seven of its past eight home games.

    Tayshaun Prince helps take down Wizards in Grizzlies debut

    Prince hit his first three shots, then connected on a pair of fourth-quarter jumpers to finish with 14 points as the Grizzlies defeated the Wizards 85-76.

    Wizards top Timberwolves 114-101 in 1st Wall start

    John Wall had 14 points and five assists in his first start of the season, and the no-longer-last Washington Wizards finally hit double digits in wins Friday night with a 114-101 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

    Wizards end road skid with win against Nuggets

    Bradley Beal scored 23 points, John Wall blocked Ty Lawson's attempt for a tying layup in the final seconds, and the Washington Wizards hung on to beat the Denver Nuggets 112-108 on Friday night to snap an eight-game road losing streak.

    Bradley Beal made a jumper with 0.3 seconds left Monday night, lifting the short-handed Washington Wizards a 101-99 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, who missed 16 straight shots at one stretch.
