The young drop coverage to avoid higher premiums
Maryland defensive tackle Dre Moore sat at his locker last week amused at a question that permitted him to unleash his usual mischievousness.
PINEHURST, N.C. — Outside of a handful of beat reporters and a couple of other straggling writers, Maryland safety Christian Varner was a bit lonely at the start of an interview session at yesterday's ACC football kickoff event at Pinehurst Resort.
"I call [Isaiah Gardner] 'Zeke.'
"That's basically our names for each other," senior safety Christian Varner said.
