Police in Fairfax County have identified three people, including a 12-year-old boy, who drowned as they were swept away in flood waters.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue spokesman Dan Schmidt says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fairfax County officials reported three home cave-ins because of downed trees, a water rescue on the Potomac River and dozens of down electrical wires, said Dan Schmidt, a fire department spokesman.
