A pair of three-pound, fluorescent green dumbbells ordinarily wouldn't be intimidating for a professional athlete or any guy in the gym, even a sports writer.
St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danario Alexander may return against Denver this weekend after missing a month following arthroscopic knee surgery.
Danario Alexander signed with the St. Louis Rams in late August as something of a long-term project, given he was still rehabbing from a fourth operation on his left knee.
Quarterback Keith Null and running back Chris Ogbonnaya were among the St. Louis Rams' final cuts to reach the 53-man roster limit.
Alexander said he probably would have had to have surgery after the season in any case, and feels better now than anytime prior to the injury.
"I'm feeling pretty good about my body and stuff like that," Alexander said. "I was fresh again and Sam put some out there for me to go get them, and it happened."
