The European Medicines Agency has started an infringement procedure against pharmaceutical giant Roche for allegedly failing to properly report side effects in patients in the U.S.
Europe's top drug regulator announced Tuesday it is taking action against pharmaceutical giant Roche for allegedly failing to properly report the side effects of 19 drugs being used by U.S. patients.
The European Medicines Agency is investigating "deficiencies" in the way drug maker Roche reported possible side effects in patients in the U.S., though it said there was no evidence patients are at risk.
