It lies at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue, Summer Street, Federal Street, Purchase Street and Surface Artery, with the Central Artery (I-93) passing underneath in the Dewey Square Tunnel and Big Dig.     Police evict Occupy Boston protesters, arrest 46

    Police officers swept through Dewey Square early Saturday, tearing down tents at the Occupy Boston encampment and arresting dozens of protesters, bringing a peaceful end to the 10-week demonstration.

    Boston police arrest 50 from 'Occupy Boston'

    More than 50 protesters from the "Occupy Boston" movement were arrested early Tuesday after they ignored warnings to move from a downtown greenway near where they have been camped out for more than a week, police said.
