preston keres/special to the washington times Closer Drew Storen’s frustration was evident after a four-run ninth inning in Game 5 on Friday night catapulted St. Louis into the National League Championship Series. Washington finished a major league-best 98-64 in the regular season, its best record since moving to D.C. for the start of the 2005 campaign.
