Baltimore police say Trotta, a teacher at a Catholic high school has been charged with engaging in sexual activity with a student. Trotta is a science teacher at Archbishop Curley High School. The school said in a statement posted on its website that she had been suspended. According to a statement of probably cause, Trotta began showing an interest in the male student last year. The document says Trotta would and the student would engage in sexual activity in her classroom during school hours.
