'Your papers, please' must never be heard in America

When he's eligible — and healthy enough — to run, it's very hard to catch LaShawn Merritt.

It began with a smile at the starting line.
"One thing I can say about Oscar is he's an incredibly hard worker," Hurtault said. "I'm glad to see him out here. I'm glad he's getting a chance to finally compete and hopefully something emerges out of everyone else's mind."

"It's not the end of the world. The Olympics is going to come around again. Next year is a world championship," he said. "We have a season every year. So now it's a matter of getting healthy and getting back to what I love to do."
