    U.Va.'s interim president seeks to rebuild trust

    The University of Virginia's interim president says he agreed to take the job out of love for the university and the desire to rebuild trust after the Board of Visitors' handling of President Teresa Sullivan's ouster.

Gallup polls in 2008-09 found that 54 percent of the population believe college teachers have high ethical standards whereas only 16 percent think union leaders do.
