The left's outrage over the IRS turns to a plea to 'move on'

At one point early in the Cotton Bowl, with "Johnny B. Goode" blaring through the stadium speakers, Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel peeked up at the accompanying highlights on the huge video board hanging over the field. Texas A&M's exciting dual-threat quarterback known as Johnny Football sure puts on a show worth watching.
The words "Play Like a Champion Today" are plastered on the walls leading from the locker room to the field at both No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 8 Oklahoma, a rich piece of tradition the storied schools happen to share.
There was a time during Bob Stoops' tenure as Oklahoma coach that the notion of letting the fullback run the ball was dismissed without much consideration. Why give the ball to a blocker when the running back had so much more playmaking potential?
The Big 12 Conference has come back strong after two straight summers of uncertainty about its future.
"Feel just disappointed that he's going out this way, getting beat like that," Sooners center Gabe Ikard said.

"That makes a great story for the game and it sets it up well, but what it comes down to is two teams playing each other on the field," he said.
