    What he wrote Sunday on Twitter to thank fans for their unsolicited purchases from his wedding registry was a nice gesture. We like our heroes humble, and D.C. has no greater icon these days than RG3. To know he cherishes the jerky maker and the corn peeler and the napkins is reassuring. But the picture Griffin posted with the thank-you message was a bad look.

    RG3 feeling fine after first NFL game

    The New Orleans Saints tackled quarterback Robert Griffin III or contacted him to the ground 13 times during the Washington Redskins' 40-32 victory Sunday. Three days after taking that punishment, Griffin felt OK.

    RG3 signs four-year, $21 million deal with Redskins

    Wizards get Clipped, 122-101

    Frustration was evident on Trevor Booker's face as he went up for a block on Blake Griffin, and got his third foul of the game late in the second quarter. It was the story of the evening as the Wizards big men got in foul trouble early and often, as the Clippers defeated the Wizards 122-101 on Saturday night at Verizon Center. The loss drops the Wizards to 16-48.
