A Night at the Smithsonian - Ever wish you could have a night like Ben Stiller's “Night at the Museum”? Six Flags America - Come visit one of the Washington/Baltimore area's biggest attractions with roller coasters and Water Park rides that everyone can enjoy. Wheaton Regional Park - This isn't any average day in the park. Take a 10 mile trip out of the busy city to have a fun day at Wheaton Regional Park in Wheaton, Maryland. The kids can take a ride on a mini replica of an 1863 train, ride the carousel, go fishing, play on the playground and have a picnic. Tickets are $2 each and are good for one ride on either the train or the carousel. There are also hiking trails, an ice rink, tennis courts, baseball fields and basketball courts for the kids that love sports. Hampton Park (Charleston, SC) - Hampton Park is located on the peninsular Charleston, South Carolina, and remains the largest park on the peninsula. Historically, Hampton Park began as a plantation, and had stints over the years as a race course and cemetery. The park is recognized for its beautiful sights, and is also popular for runners, joggers, and cyclists, who use the one-mile perimeter road for exercise.

De Leon Springs State Park (DeLeon Springs, FL) - This park covers 611 acres of land and is built around a natural sulfur spring. It is known for its wildlife such as alligators, white-tailed deer, turtles, and otters. It is historically known for being owned by local Native American tribes, and eventually being taken by Spanish forces. Some recreational activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking and fishing.

Lake Park (Milwaukee, WI) - Lake Park is an urban park located on Lake Michigan and covers approximately 138 acres. Even with its small size, it's lakefront amenities are breathtaking, such as the Milwaukee Art Museum, McKinley Marina, and Bradford Beach. The park was designed in the Romantic tradition, with its natural landscaping and winding paths.
