Jenny Sanford, the ex-wife of former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband claiming he trespassed earlier this year.

Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford said Wednesday he visited his ex-wife's home while she was out of town because he didn't want his 14-year-old son to watch the Super Bowl alone — a visit that she says violated their divorce settlement.

Occasionally, embattled Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus gets a star and two smiley faces for bustling into action, intent on steering weary Republicans towards political productivity.

Things are looking up for Gov. Mark Sanford as he prepares to leave office on his own terms more than a year after the international affair that derailed his once-promising political career.
"I am doing my best not to get in the way of his race," Jenny Sanford, who for a time considered running herself, told the AP. "I want him to sink or swim on his own. For the sake of my children I'm trying my best not to get in the way, but he makes things difficult for me when he does things like trespassing."
Jenny Sanford said Tuesday that she has custody of the couple's four boys.
