    Suspect pulled over hours before Arizona killing spree

    Only a few hours before a shooting rampage that killed six people and gravely wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, Arizona Democrat, a state wildlife officer pulled over the suspected killer after he apparently ran a red light, authorities said Wednesday.

    Doctor: Giffords 'holding her own'

    The condition of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, Arizona Democrat, was described as "holding her own" Tuesday, three days after she was shot in the head at point-blank range during an apparent assassination attempt that left six people dead.

    Suspect in Arizona shooting held without bond

    The shackled suspected shooter in the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, Arizona Democrat, and the killing of six others showed no emotion and said little during a brief court appearance Monday, while the nation mourned and doctors remained optimistic about the congresswoman's recovery.
