Fantasy replaces reality in Obama's green economy

As if Newt Gingrich doesn't have enough problems after his disappointing fourth-place finish in the Iowa caucuses under a barrage of blistering attack ads, here's one more to consider: his weight.

The ongoing Wall Street protests get such cozy press.

Bristol Palin was the victim last week of verbal abuse by a 47-year-old heckler who called her "white trash" and her mother, Sarah Palin, a "whore."
The rough, tough ladies of "The View"? No problem for former Vice President Dick Cheney. Cheney was on the daytime show Tuesday promoting his new memoir, "In My Time," and there were no fireworks. "The View" hosts, particularly Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, are often combative with guests they disagree with politically.

On "The View" on Monday, Barbara Walters said, "I would hate now to be a Republican candidate thinking of running," and Joy Behar beamed, "Skip the next election." The liberal media's best hopes aside, taking down Osama bin Laden won't guarantee Barack Obama's re-election in 2012.

In celebrating the Supreme Court's 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade, President Obama stated his support for the decision by declaring that government shouldn't intercede in private family matters. Really?
"The View" co-host Joy Behar and actress Marilu Henner are among seven judges who will decide the next Miss America in January.

Addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky will have a new prime-time show weeknights on HLN starting next spring, talking about issues from Charlie Sheen to airport pat-downs.

"Hollywood is giving an Honorary Academy Award to French filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard, an historically important director but a raving and unapologetic anti-Semite," writes Phyllis Chesler at NewsRealBlog.
TV talk show co-host Joy Behar referred to Senate candidate Sharron Angle with a slur, but the Nevada Republican replied with flowers after the on-air swipe boosted her fundraising.

Brace for it. Julian Assange has stepped back in the news.

As leftists gain confidence with their stranglehold on Congress, the media and the White House, it is getting easier all the time to identify their suicidal tendencies. Common-sense Americans are increasingly waking up to the Obama fan club that hates entrepreneurialism, capitalism and the American Dream of excellence.

We look at past presidents, and presidential candidates, who have appeared on popular television shows.
ABC's "The View" has welcomed many notable guests, but none more prominent than President Barack Obama, who is scheduled to visit for Thursday's edition.

Miss Behar, who had watched the televised convention, said Mr. Johnston appeared to be out of place.

"I agree with you, you did look like a deer in the headlights," Miss Behar said. "But you also ... you don't even look like you; you look like a Republican senator."
