Leaders of Jefferson County — Alabama's most populous — have voted to file an estimated $4.1 billion bankruptcy, the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history.
The woman, Julia Biryukova, told investigators that her 2-year-old son, Sky Metalwala, vanished Sunday in Bellevue when she left him sleeping alone in her unlocked car for an hour after it ran out of gas.
