    Redskins' decisive win over Eagles is a verdict for defense

    Perry Riley jumped up from the turf, fresh off a quarterback sack, and went right into a B-boy stance. The Washington Redskins' 31-6 rout of the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday featured rare occasions for the defense to celebrate, so players seized the opportunity whenever they could.

    Offensive line has Redskins off and running

    You usually can find the Washington Redskins' offensive linemen sitting together on the benches outside the back door of Redskins Park before practice each afternoon. An offensive line is the sum of its parts, you know. Cohesion is essential to their success, so these guys stick together. They often walk down to the practice field as a unit, and this season they can carry themselves with a newfound pride.

    Redskins rip Greg Schiano for victory formation crashing

    Many around the NFL have criticized Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano for breaking commonly accepted football etiquette and having his team crash the opposition's victory formation. That includes several Washington Redskins players, who more than anything else said they don't get why Schiano and the Bucs would endanger opponents in such a way.

    The Washington Redskins gained 459 yards against the New Orleans Saints and left the Superdome with an impressive upset victory. But the offensive linemen that plowed the way for those yards offered a lukewarm assessment of their play.

    RG3 feeling fine after first NFL game

    The New Orleans Saints tackled quarterback Robert Griffin III or contacted him to the ground 13 times during the Washington Redskins' 40-32 victory Sunday. Three days after taking that punishment, Griffin felt OK.
