    American held in Iran says she's not a spy

    An American woman who was held in Iran for more than 13 months and accused of espionage said Sunday she and two men detained with her never spied or committed any crime, calling their arrest "a huge misunderstanding."

    U.S. woman freed by Iran plans medical exam in Oman

    American Sarah Shourd planned a medical exam Wednesday for the first appraisal of her health after more than 13 months in an Iranian prison, Omani officials said, after the country's rulers mediated a deal for a half-million-dollar bail to win her release.

    Iran postpones American woman's release

    Iran on Friday postponed the planned release of an American woman jailed along with two friends for more than a year, state media reported, dealing a blow to the hopes of three U.S. mothers who have pleaded for the trio's release.
