    With an 89-74 win over the Brooklyn Nets, the Wizards reeled off their third straight triumph over a postseason contender following victories against the division-leading Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks.

    Tim Duncan injury mars Spurs' win over Wizards

    Duncan sprained his left knee and right ankle in the first half, but the Spurs went on to a 96-86 win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night for their 10th consecutive victory.

    For the first 40 minutes Wednesday night Washington looked uninspired against a Utah squad that had won seven of its previous nine. But instead of giving up after trailing by 22 points in the first half and 15 entering the fourth quarter, Washington fought back within two on Kevin Seraphin's jumper with 6:57 left.

    Jamal Crawford's buzzer-beater lifts Wizards past Blazers

    "If I could get the game ball you know I would keep it," Crawford said after his 30-foot-jumper beat the clock and gave Washington a 98-95 win over Portland on Monday night.
