George Washington has extended men's basketball coach Mike Lonergan's contract through the end of the 2020-21 season.
GW freshman point guard Miguel Cartagena will transfer from the program, the school announced.

"For us, hitting eight 3's is huge," Lonergan said.
"I've been praying to," Lonergan said. "I went to Mass early this morning. He's one of the best shooters I've ever coached. I told him to keep shooting."
