Lady Gaga (performing in Japan last summer, above) begins her much-anticipated "Born This Way" world tour Friday and fans in Asia will be the first to see it. Western pop stars are increasingly criss-crossing the region in search of new markets - and Asian fans are ecstatic. "Some of these shows are like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," says Mindy Chew, who has a ticket for the tour stop in Singapore.
