For all his legendary powers of persuasion, Bill Clinton never could quite sweet-talk Yasser Arafat and Ehud Barak into closing the deal on a final status peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority back in 2000. Looks like he whiffed again with Jimmy Page and and Robert Plant.
Led Zeppelin will not be reuniting anytime soon. That message came through loud and clear Tuesday with sarcasm, stoic silence and even the occasional barb at reporters who dared to ask.
The song remains the same, as Led Zeppelin once observed. But Zeppelin fans can visit the band's music anew thanks to a film of the rock titans' last show together in 2007 — which also was the band's first full show in 27 years.
