The National Building Museum's upcoming "Green Community" exhibit will feature resource-conserving architecture around the world. Masdar City in Abu Dhabi, for example, is being developed with water courses, covered markets and narrow streets to adapt to its harsh desert environment.

The National Building Museum will open two nine-hole, indoor miniature golf courses with one-of-a-kind holes created by leading local architects and designers on Memorial Day.
