    Texas AG to Obama: I'll sue if U.N. Arms Treaty is ratified

    Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott wrote a letter to President Obama on Tuesday saying that the state will head to court over the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty should Mr. Obama sign it and the U.S. Senate ratify it. "The UN has concluded its negotiations on the Arms Trade Treaty," Mr. Abbott writes. "It is now up to you to sign it — or reject it. Do not sign this treaty."

    NRA-funded task force wants more armed personnel in schools

    Four months after the Sandy Hook school shooting, a task force set up by the National Rifle Association issued a school safety report Tuesday that calls for more trained and armed personnel on school grounds, arguing the faster someone responds with a gun during an attack, the more lives can be saved.

    Gun groups promise fight as U.N. inches toward override of Second Amendment

    American gun rights advocates said Thursday that they remain determined to block a far-reaching U.S. agreement on international arms sales, warning that the pact could lead to a national firearms registry and disrupt the U.S. gun market, even as the accord ran into an unexpected last-minute snag in negotiations in New York.

    MILLER: Hey Piers Morgan, Adam Lanza was not a NRA member

    The terrible murderer of children and teachers in Newtown, Conn., Adam Lanza, was not a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) despite the media reports. CNN host Piers Morgan who is rabidly anti-gun, took these harmless pieces of evidence to insinuate the NRA is somehow complicit in the horrific crime.
