Leading actors Daniel Day Lewis and Kevin Spacey have celebrated the life of late actor Pete Postlethwaite at a London memorial service.
Pete Postlethwaite, who left teaching at 24 to pursue his passion for acting and grew to win an Oscar nomination, died Sunday at 64, a longtime friend and journalist who documented the actor's fight against cancer confirmed.
Britain's Press Association is reporting that decorated film actor Pete Postlethwaite has died at the age of 64.
"They have been wonderful, and I am grateful to them," he told the Shropshire Star newspaper. "I cannot thank them enough for everything that they have done for me."
