Real Salt Lake is an American professional soccer club that participates in Major League Soccer. The club joined the league as an expansion team in 2005, and plays its home games at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City. They are the current MLS Cup champions.
