Ronald Edward Santo (born February 25, 1940 in Seattle, Washington) is a former professional baseball player. He played the majority of his Major League Baseball career as the regular third baseman for the Chicago Cubs before playing his final year with the Chicago White Sox. Santo was a productive player despite suffering from diabetes, a condition which he carefully concealed for 80% of his career; it eventually necessitated the amputation of both of his legs. - Source: Wikipedia
