A day after clashing with a tea party activist, President Obama Tuesday told crowds in Iowa that it was "a faction in Congress" that was to blame for blocking economic progress.

President Obama was confronted by a tea party activist Monday night who wanted to know how Mr. Obama can call for compromise with Republicans while Democrats accuse the tea party of being "terrorists."
Mr. Rhodes told the president that his calls for civility were meaningless while Democrats such as Vice President Joseph R. Biden have referred to tea party members as "terrorists."
Mr. Rhodes told reporters he does believe the president is a socialist.
