    French workers went on strike Thursday in protest of President Nicolas Sarkozy's plans to raise the retirement age from 60 in most cases to 62.

    Switzerland stuns Spain 1-0 in World Cup

    Switzerland stunned viewers Wednesday when it took European champion Spain 1-0. Switzerland's win ended Spain's run of 12 straight wins. This is only the second loss Spain has seen in 50 games.
