A Massachusetts man was convicted Tuesday of conspiring to help al Qaeda and plotting to kill U.S. soldiers in Iraq.
A Massachusetts man was convicted Tuesday of conspiring to help al Qaeda and plotting to kill U.S. troops in Iraq.
He said independent advocacy on behalf of the organization was not a violation of the law.
