A man was found fatally shot Thursday afternoon inside a home in Northeast Washington, D.C. and police are investigating the death as a homicide, officials said.
Over the last 10 years, an influx of new residents has brought noticeable crime and nuisance issues with them, but many of the now-elderly homeowners banded together to address those problems and even run out a few bad apples, said Ted Washington, who grew up in the neighborhood.
