    Black Friday retail sales edge up only slightly

    Shoppers crowded stores on Black Friday but spent just a little more than last year on the traditional start of the holiday shopping season, according to data released Saturday by a research firm.

    Nebraska, Colorado wrap up Big 12 tours

    Colorado and Nebraska will meet one more time as members of the Big 12 before they head off to different leagues and the game is setting up like one of those day-after-Thanksgiving throwdowns of yesteryear.

    Brees, Saints recover to top Cowboys' rally

    Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints have recovered from blowing a 17-point lead by marching 89 yards for a go-ahead touchdown with 1:55 left to pull out a 30-27 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.

    'Cool' hot-air balloons animate Thanksgiving parade

    A high-kicking Kung Fu Panda and a diary-toting Wimpy Kid joined the giant-balloon lineup as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade unfolded Thursday, drawing tens of thousands of spectators to the annual extravaganza on a chilly, overcast morning.
