Singer-songwriter Jewel has penned numerous lyrics empowering women after heartbreak and loss, and now she hopes to do the same for breast cancer survivors.
Jewel is expecting a precious gift _ a baby. The 36-year-old pop-country singer is pregnant. Her publicist, Nicole Perez-Krueger, said it will be the first child for Jewel and her husband, rodeo champion Ty Murray.
